Though Eugene may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Eugene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence McCracken and Margaret McCracken; his wife Diana McCracken; and his brother Donald McCracken. He is survived by: his children, Sherri Adams (Brad) of Knoxville, TN and Tony McCracken (Jodi) of Erie, CO; his siblings, Helene Dunmire of Denver, CO, Clarence "Jerry" McCracken of Longmont, CO and Pat Sherwin of Paso Robles, CA; and also Sandy Connolly of Hudson, CO. He is also survived by 9 loving grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Denver Mortuary (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Denver Mortuary Chapel (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033).
