He is survived by: his wife Roxanne Escamilla; his children, Nevaeh, Araceli, Demrie Cordova and Xavier Cordova; his stepfather Rogelio Tarango; his siblings, Claudia Retana (Jesus) of Texico and Jose Martinez of Hobbs; his nephew Alejandro Retana; and his nieces, Brianna and Kaylee Retana of Texico. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
