He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Juan Jose, Tomasa Balderas, Jesus and Caterina Márquez; and his nephew Roman Balderas.

He is survived by: his son Emilio Balderas; his parents, Carlos Balderas and Gloria Balderas; and his siblings, Duneen Martinez, Carlitos Jr. and Ariel Balderas. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews; several aunts and uncles; and at least seventy cousins.
