Emmitt A. McCrea Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmitt A. McCrea (Brighton, Colorado), who passed away on December 29, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin McCrea and Evelyn McCrea; his brothers, Jackie and Monty McCrea; and his grandson Clinton McCrea.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara McCrea; his children, Emmitt McCrea Jr., Lakeville, Anthony McCrea (Angie), Dana McVay and Michelle Velvin (Kyle); his grandchildren, Ryan McCrea, Joseph Troupe, Lynne Swift, Kayli Chamberlin, Jessica Donohue and Madison Velvin; and his sister Ramona McCoy. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
