We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2023, at the age of 91, Dorothy May Thorson of Brighton, Colorado, born in Trenton, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Dever and Winnie Dever (Gordon); her husband Leslie R. Thorson; and her siblings, Elden, Lawrence, Delmer and Elsie Dawirs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Eileen, Arla Hitchcock, Cheryl Gillespie (Ken) and Pat Hillen (Dan); her grandchildren, Leslie Hitchcock, Michael Hitchcock, Jerry Hitchcock (Nicole), Dan Gillespie (Teresa), Kimberly Bruntz (Bill), Shawn Hillen (Jen) and Janelle Bonilla (Alex); her great grandchildren, Ryan, Raley, Jacob, Paula, Giada, Emma, Allyson, Samantha, Spencer, Lucas, Kelsey and Blake; her brothers, Kenneth Dever and Keith Dever (Claudia); and her sister-in-law Betty Jo Thorson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Luthern Church, 1400 Skeel Street.
