He was predeceased by: his parents, Eligio Rodarte and Elbiria Sánchez Rodarte; his wife Placidita Muñiz of Brighton; his son Virgilio; his siblings, Eugene Rodarte and Elsie Rodarte Rodriguez; his granddaughter Isabel Martínez; and his close friend Polly Mares.
He is survived by: his children, Clidey, Ruth Trujillo and Eva Rodarte (Robert Olivas); his grandchildren, Joey Rodarte, Ronnie Rodarte, Tina Moreno, Mark Martínez (Amy), Danny Moreno (Michelle) and Shaun Gómez; and his sister Irene Rodarte Martínez.
