He is survived by: his wife Geneva Redwine; his children, Janet McCowan, Karen McCord (Walter), Randy McCowan and Timothy DeBerry (Michelle); his grandsons, Willard Frank McCowan (Stephanie), Walter McCord Jr. (Alexus) and Joseph McCord; and his great grandchildren, Kenzie McCowan, Tennyson McCowan, Xavier McCord, Kylee McCord and ZaVeah McCord. He is also survived by his wife and children.
