With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Walter Frank Ackerman of Boulder, Colorado, born in Grand Rapids, Michigan, who passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, AnnaBelle Ackerman and Walter H. Ackerman. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his daughter Ann; his son-in-law Joseph Rajewski; his daughter Betsy; his grandson RJ; his siblings, Elsa Fennema, Lois Raap, Thomas, Ellen Hoebeke, Millie DeKock and Daniel; and his brother-in-law John Battjes (Barbara). He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews.
