Violet Bowman Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 9, 2022, at the age of 92, Violet Bowman of Boulder, Colorado, born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Bowman and Violet "Martha" Bowman; her husband Joaquin "Jack" Cantu; her former husband Pablo Mata; and her siblings, Roy Clayton Bowman, William R. Bowman, John E. Bowman, Marry Bowman, Rachel Peña, Sara McCord, Tony Alcantar and Delbert Alcantar.
She is survived by: her daughters, Frances Padilla (John), Soyla Rodriguez (Juan), Senovia Cobb (James), Amelia Smith (Bill), Oralia Rodriguez (Joe), Jesusa "Jessica" Wares (Charles), Barbara Mata, Carol Carpenter (Jimmy) and Dionicia Mata; her brother Daniel Alcantar; and her grandsons, Alejandro Rodriguez, Jeremiah Rodriguez and Caleb Rodriguez. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 27 great grand children, 3 great great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
