He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Gardner and Retta Hartsook Gardner; his wife Shirley Gardner; his daughter-in-law Teri Gardner; and his brother Vern.
He is survived by: his sons, Dr. William Gardner (Jeannie), Robert Gardner (Debbie) of Thornton, CO and Gene Gardner of Ft. Lupton, CO; his grandchildren, Dr. Ryan Gardner (Kristine), Jessica Golden (David), Aaron Gardner, Eli Gardner (Adele), Jacob Gardner, Sarah Hudek (Steven) and Nicole Gardner; his great grandchildren, Serena, Xavier, Devyn, Alice, Bryn, Ruthie and Evie; and his sister-in-law Hazel Gardner of Eckley, CO..
