He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peg" McCarty; his son David Edward McCarty; his children-in-law, Emma Fortney McCarty and Marc Mori; and his grandchildren, Jacqueline McCarty, Iola McCarty, Marek Mori and Sabrina Mori.
