We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Suzanne Birkeland (Boulder, Colorado), born in Appleton, Wisconsin. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gertrude Franzke and Albert Franzke; and her husband Pete of Seattle. She is survived by: her granddaughters, Erika, Kelsey and Montana; her sister Gail; her children, Karl (Ginger) and Robin; her granddaughter Natasha; and also John Jugl.

In honor of Sue's enduring love of Native American culture, and of the people who lived in the Wind River Range, memorial donations can be given to the Wind River Development Fund: https://www.windriverfoundation.org.
