He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Leora Porter and Loren Wayne Porter. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Nelson (Mike) of Toronto and Kelly Buckland (Saylor) of Custer; his brothers, Joel Porter (Karen) of Hudson and Tom Porter (Min) of Adelphi, Maryland; his grandchildren, Brandon, Emily, Ethan, Westin and Tristin; his former wife Linda Lewis; and also Karrie of Boulder, Colorado. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, an aunt, and many cousins.
