He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Valdemars Starkis (Walter) and Mirdza Starkis (May); his siblings, Ieva Berzins (Evie), Janis (John) and Uldis (Peter); his wife Leslie; and his brother Andrej (Andy).
