With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul James Rewinkel (Boulder, Colorado), born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on January 23, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Merwyn and Joan of Lakewood; and his siblings, Joan Goldsmith of Loveland and Arthur of Grand County. He is survived by: his daughter Leslee of Denver; his wife Susan Taylor Rewinkel of Nederland; his children, Eric Rewinkel (Rie) of Carbondale and Heidi White (Lew) of Arvada; his great-niece Natalie Taylor of Nederland; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Raeanna, Christian, Cody, Caleb, Cory, Jordan, Jessica, Bekah and Thomas; and his brother John (Christy) of Denver. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, memorial donations in Paul's memory may be made to InterVarsity Christian Fellowship to support ministry to young campus ministers and students.

“Paul was a good friend for many years and I enjoyed working with him on various maintenance projects at Grace Lutheran Church. It has been a few years since I last saw Paul but driving through Nederland last week after skiing at Brainard Lake I said to my wife, Carol, "I wonder what Paul Rewinkle is up to these days." He was a good man, had any tool you might need for a project and was fun to talk to He will be missed. Tom Dozier”
