She was predeceased by: her husband Delbert Chapman Rooks (Curly); her siblings, Nellie, LaVern, Mildred, Marjorie and Harry Jr.; and her daughter Phyllis.
She is survived by: her son Richard; and her grandchildren, Michelle, Christopher, Jennifer and Annette. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, and 16 nieces and nephews.
