Mark Shanahan Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 13, 2020, at the age of 71, Mark Shanahan (Boulder, Colorado) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Lawrence Edward and Mary Elaine Shanahan (Harvey). He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Chere (Marty Shepard) and Christine LeAllen (Todd Rau); his wife Debra Shanahan; his grandchildren, Casey Giehm (Maddie), Ty Shockley, Lexis Medrano and Katie Shockley; his sister Gloria Gapter (Don); his nephew Jeff Gapter (Phyllis); and his niece Dawn Mendoza (Gapter).
In his early years he rode race horses, riding Quarter Horses on brush tracks in Texas for the owner of the Foundation Q.H. King.
