He was predeceased by: his wife Diana. He is survived by: his siblings, Linda, Marc and Ron; his children, Shawn and Kelli; and his son-in-law Kenny.

In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation in his name to organizations that will continue his legacy such as FIRC of Summit County, the Boulder Humane Society, Teach for America, or Impact on Education.
