James Fankhauser Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 16, 2021, at the age of 91, James Fankhauser of Boulder, Colorado, born in Humboldt, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Christian Raymond Fankhauser and Rose Rexroth Fankhauser; his wife Jo Ann; and his siblings, Donald O Fankhauser, Howard "Skip" Allen Fankhauser and Emma Louise Clark.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie C Kennedy (Mike) of Boulder and Jeri Schmelzel (Kurt) of Wheat Ridge; his grandchildren, Kyle, Sarah, Joseph Kennedy, Bex and Christian Schmelzel; and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Fankhauser and Shirley Fankhauser. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
