He is survived by: his wife Marion T Peters; his children, James F Saunders III (Susan) of Boulder and Ann Leigh Saunders (Eliceo Gonzales) of Galveston, TX; his granddaughters, Alyssa Saunders (Blake Macnab) of Portland, OR, Molly Saunders (Brian Pierce) of Longmont, Franny Gonzales (Feng Zheng) of Houston, TX and Eleanor Gonzales; and his great grandchildren, Fenix Zheng and Audrey Macnab.
