It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gretchen Briegleb Timmermans Williams (Boulder, Colorado), born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on February 11, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Briegleb and Ione Briegleb. She is survived by: her husband Richard Williams (Dick); her son Alex Timmermans (Lynne); her grandchildren, Spencer and Julia; her stepchildren, Richard C. Williams (Pam) and Donna Williams (Steve); her sister Kathy Barton; her niece Avon Hanson; and her nephew Fred.

Donations can be made in her honor to the Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT.org), Boulder Mennonite Church, or Whitman College.
