She is survived by: her daughter Nancy Duran of Urbandale, Iowa; her daughter-in-law Brenda Hadenfeldt of Lafayette, Colorado; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Duran of Norfolk and Olivia Duran Gerhardt (Taylor Gerhardt) of Chesapeake, Virginia. She is also survived by extended family; and many dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Wounded Warrior Project, the Norfolk (Virginia) Botanical Garden, or the Chrysler Museum of Art (Norfolk, Virginia).
