He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Shirl Peters and Elizabeth Peters; his children, Denise Ebels, Mark and Douglas Peters (Deanna); his grandchildren, Lauren Ebels, Michaela Peters, Royer (Brian), Kelsey Peters and Micah Gilmore (Gil); his siblings, Henry, Adrianne Peters-DeKruif, Stanley, Joan Peters, Alvin, Dorothy Kooiman-Vis, LaVern (Butch), Sheila Kooiman, Moe, Connie Kooiman-Hamming, Marshall (Bud), Roxanne Kooiman and CJ Taylor; his siblings-in-law, Herman Kooiman and Cora Kooiman-Bothof (Henry); his sisters, Willys (Aleanor Kooiman-Kruisselbrink-Taylor) and Marilyn Peters; and his nephew Stacey L. Kooiman.
