He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertha McGinty (Lengel) and Hugh McGinty Sr.; his wife Doris; and his brothers, Michael and Mac McGinty.
He is survived by: his brother Robert; and his children, Betty, Barb, Diane, Bruce and Glenn. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 12 great, great grandchildren.
