She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Marek and Gladys Marek; her husband Leonard Kalal; her brother Leo; and her sister-in-law Beverly Marek.
She is survived by: her brother Don Marek (Sharon); her children, Mark Kalal (Marla), Paula Wurst (Lance), Ann Sather (Brad) and Ellen Fox (Burton); her grandchildren, Sally McCallum (Josh), Katy Bradley (Jon), Sarah Holst (Nathan), JoAnna Wurst, Barrett Sather (Lauren) and Whitney Sather; and her great grandchildren, Marcus, Aurelia McCallum and Sage Holst. She is also survived by many friends and relatives.
