He was predeceased by: his parents, Eleanor Hayward Maxon and Norman Allen Maxon; his brother Norman Maxon; and his siblings-in-law, Delores Maxon, Norman Hicks and Esther.
He is survived by: his brother Peter Maxon (Adele); his children, Cindy Roberts (Earl), Betsy Davis (Ken), Marcia Bieroth (Dennis) and Robert Maxon; and his grandchildren, Christy Lindsay (Travis), Amy Evans (Bryce), Dennis Roberts (Rachiell), Michael Roberts, Melissa Mansour (Billy), Erin Brach (John), Tiffany Manzanares (Shaun), Jennifer Whiteley (Travis), Cara Small (Wade) and Casey Bieroth (Carissa). He is also survived by 19 great grandchildren.
