He is survived by: his wife Leslie "Honey" Hays; his children, John Hays (Pat) of Omaha, NE, Jodi Hays (JD Alonso) of Omaha, NE and Kathy Linch (Jerry) of League City, TX; his stepdaughter Leslie Baker (Brent) of Golden, CO; his grandchildren, Alex (Catherine), Lauren, Tyler, Karney, Kooper, Sarah, Molly, Grayson, Kieran and MacEwan; his great grandchild Emma Jean; his former wife Sally Schneider; his brothers, Daniel Hays of Corvallis, OR and Douglas Hays of Las Vegas, NV; and his brother-in-law Edward Cudahy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
