He was predeceased by: his sister Linda Rhea; his niece Mary Leah Braun; and his brother Thomas Braun. He is survived by: his wife Joan McLean Braun; his children, Greg and Lindsay (Jack Friesen); his grandson Cole Friesen; and his siblings, Larry (Margie), Bob (Madeleine), Patty (Chris Schneck) and John (Stephanie).
