She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Marion Goodin and Marie Goodin; her husband Sam W. III; her son Sam W. Maphis IV; her daughter-in-law Terry Maphis of Santa Barbara, California; her children, Joy Maphis of Boulder, Colorado and Jeff C. Maphis of Missoula, Montana; and her daughter-in-law Beth Maphis.
