“Sorry to hear about Cliff's passing. Both Cliff and Erna were very dear to us in a number of ways. I personally appreciated being their pastor and sharing in a Bible Study with them from July 2010 through December, 2016. One of our favorite memories was when we sat on their back patio and shared a glass of wine and talked about all kinds of things like our love for dogs and how we grew up. They will be sorely missed. “I was very saddened to learn of Cliff's passing. I'm sorry I had fallen out of touch with the family and did not even know we lost Erna until long after the fact. But I still feel great affection for the Uppendahls. I will never forget when Cliff and Erna arrived in Boulder with Baby Ramona in their arms. Or when my mother and grandmother served as witnesses when Erna became a citizen. My thoughts are with all of the family. -- William Arndt, Boulder.”
