She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Johannes Alsleben and Anna; her sister Goettingen; her husband Jim Colwell of Boulder; her children, John Colwell (Tambra Leonard) of Chevy Chase and Alice Colwell (David Dobbs) of Montpelier, Vermont; her grandchildren, Nick, Olliver and James; and her sisters, Brigitte Alsleben of London and Ulrike Manegold of Mannheim, Germany. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
