Though Carol has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Skerjanec; her children, Britta Mundhenke (Eric), Kerstin Dickson (Andy) and Tom Skerjanec (Cindy); and her sister Betty Haulman. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
A rosary was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (898 14th St, Boulder, CO 80303). A Mass was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Cemetery (6739 S Boulder Rd, Boulder, CO 80303).
Donations in lieu of flowers should be made in her name to children's organizations, St. Jude or other brain cancer research groups in honor of her late grandson, Anders Mundhenke.
