She was predeceased by: her brother Bruce Arbogast; and her parents, Alfred C. of Elkhart and Ersa S. Arbogast of Elkhart. She is survived by: her children, Susan Stanaway (Ben Maisel) of San Jose, Robin Stanaway of Taos and John Stanaway of Tucson, AZ; her son-in-law Ilan Kroo of Stanford, CA.; her grandchildren, Makena Levine (Sam Kohlhaas), Celeste Maisel (Matt Bengel), Desmond Maisel, Elliot Kroo, Laurel Kroo (George Herring) and Annie Kroo; and her sister-in-law Linda Arbogast of Elkhart, IN. She is also survived by twelve nieces and nephews and their families and numerous friends.
Anne's numerous honors include an award for the first documentary produced on Alzheimer's, two Fulbright Scholarships in Tokyo and Okinawa, a National Endowment for the Humanities Fellowship at the University of Michigan , and an Emmy nomination for her documentary that introduced Vietnamese refugees to the American public after the fall of Saigon.
