She is survived by: her children, Lisa Swanson of Berkeley Springs, Jay Swanson of Dolores, Colorado, Shari Swanson-Hicks (late John Hicks) of Erie, Colorado, Trudi Sorensen (Shane) of Avon, Colorado and Dwight Swanson (Jennifer Accardo) of Bon Air, Virginia.; her grandchildren, Dustin Wilkes, Raissa Wilkes, Jolie Swisher (Michael), Evan Hicks, Frances Swanson and Joseph Swanson; her great grandchildren, Jameson Swisher and Kohana Swisher; and her brother James David Sota. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Atonement Lutheran Church, Boulder; the Emergency Family Assistance Association, Boulder; or the Esko Historical Society, Esko, Minnesota.
