He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rikuo Hara and Edith Sachiyo Kamioka Hara; his wife Marie K. Veary; and his siblings, Clarence, Clifford and Frances Sexauer.
He is survived by: his children, Didi Hara of Blanca, CO, Darryl Hara (Rebecca) of Honolulu, Debra Lukondi (Ray) of Blanca, CO and Pamela Yim (Thomas) of Honolulu, Hawaii; his grandchildren, Jeremy K. Yim (Heather) of Ryan, T. O., Dru N. Hara (Gabi), Louis C. Lukondi (Rosanie), Dottie Rae Cappuccilli (Joe), Kristin Amezcua (Mario) and Jason Tannahill; and his nephews, Paul Sexauer and Craig Hara. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins.
