It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Lee Bassett (Beulah, Colorado), born in Rocky Ford, Colorado, who passed away on April 7, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellsworth Bassett and Lillian Bassett; his brother Robert Bassett; his parent-in-law Andrew Jamieson; his siblings-in-law, Andy Jamieson, Earl Wilson and Corrine Wilson; and also Elizabeth Jamieson.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Crosson (Craig), Walter, Jr. Bassett (Kathie) and Vickie Bassett Brusig; his grandchildren, Melissa Habrat (Matthew), Sayra Bassett (Vanessa), Brian Crosson (Kristen), Christina Brusig, Jeffrey Crosson, Nicholas Bassett, Sarah Brusig and Andrew Brusig; his great grandchildren, Craig Thomas Habrat, Ryan Walter Willman and Sterling Grey Crosson; his brother John Bassett; and his sisters-in-law, Mable Bassett and Claire Bassett (Robert). He is also survived by seven nieces, five nephews, and many great-nieces and nephews.
