He was predeceased by: his parents, Vinnie Garold Sr. and Mildred Goodwin (Wright); his wife Theresa Catherine "Teri" Roncace; his son Mark Goodwin; his siblings, Terry Lee Goodwin and Donna Jones; and his brother-in-law Gerald Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Doug Goodwin of Hutchinson, KS and Vikki Proctor (Mark) of Berthoud, CO; and his sister-in-law Sadie Goodwin of Sterling, KS. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Birzer Funeral Home (203 N 7th St, Sterling, KS 67579). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or your local food bank, in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Sterling.
