Linda M. Wells Obituary

Linda M. (Thyfault) Wells of Berthoud, Colorado, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, December 29, 2022. She was 74 years old.

Linda was born in Denver, Colorado on July 30, 1948 to Vernon and Jean (Rotroff) Thyfault. She was raised in Denver and graduated from Thornton High School. Shortly after, Linda was married and welcomed four sons; Timothy, James, Christian and Michael. Linda was a very caring mother.

Throughout her working life, Linda held various positions. She worked for some time as an associate for the Boulder Daily Camera. She also worked as a telemarketer in data collection, was a waitress and worked as a dispatcher for law enforcement. While working at a pancake house in the late 1980s, Linda met her second husband, Willard Wells. Willard was teaching for the US Army and was in the pancake house for a meeting with his students. Linda and Willard were married and she became stepmother to his two children.

Linda was a woman of great faith and just loved reading her bible. She was very artistic and creative. She enjoyed a number of crafts including ceramics and crocheting. She was love and will be missed.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Jean Thyfault and her sister, Erica Thyfault. She is survived by her husband, Willard Wells, sons, Tim, James, Chris, and Michael Pruden, brother, David Thyfault, sisters, Nancy Wieder, Rebecca Fortin, and Christina Knoetgen, three grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and by Willard's children, Pauline Wells and Darrell Wells.

No services will be held at this time. Cremation is entrusted to Ahlberg Funeral Chapel & Crematory. Linda will be placed to rest at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver at a later date.
