It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jeanne Simmons of Berthoud, Colorado, born in Hutchinson, Kansas, who passed away on August 23, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Matlack and Chlodene Matlack (Chain); her daughter Laura; and her sister Mary Kopfman (Matlack). She is survived by: her son Jon Clune (Zelda); and her close friends, Flood Buddies, Working Buddies, Neighborhood Buddies and Jeanne. She is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
