He is survived by: his wife Marci; his children, Courtney and David; his son-in-law Josh; his granddaughter Rosie; his brother David; his sister-in-law Jane Fogt of Phoenix; his brother Dan; and his sister-in-law Betty Fogt of Delaware, OH. He is also survived by 2 nieces, 4 nephews.

“I met Bob on a back roads bike tour. We met up a couple other times on other tours later the last one being in Napa- I still remember when he displayed his expertise with opening a champagne bottle with a saber. He shared this talent with the leaders of the tour -And bought everyone champagne. This is a picture of him visiting up at Mammoth. It was the last time I saw him back in 2018 he will be missed and I am so sorry for your loss. He spoke a lot of his family and how much he loved them .”

“Bob and I were colleagues and worked closely within the regulatory side of Optometry. We served on the Board of ARBO together. Bob was a leader, and a bright creative man. As I recall, he help develop OE TRACKER for ARBO to monitor CME credits of Optometrists. Today OE TRACKER is used at most CME events across the nation. Bob and I kept in touch over the years and I will truly miss his wit, his advice and his friendship. My sympathy to Marci and their children he was so proud of. RIP Bob!”
