We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2021, at the age of 72, Mary Gretchen (Juffer) Geist of Bailey, Colorado, born in Omaha, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ted Juffer and Addie Juffer.

Any donations in her honor may be made to the Shepard of the Rockies church mission programs.

“I was shocked and am so sorry to hear of Gretchen's passing. We became friends when we started teaching in Ft. Morgan in 1971. We remained friends through the years and touched base on our birthdays and at Christmas. I have many fond memories of going skiing, playing Bridge and visiting her folks in Omaha when I would accompany her on trips back home. Such great memories of our times together.”
