He was predeceased by: his parents, Gabriel Ortega and Epifania Ortega; his children, Elizabeth Barajas and Paul Ortega; and his siblings, Eloy, Hector Ortega and Lily Lujan.
He is survived by: his children, Marcos Ortega Jr. (Janeen), Sylvia Ortega (Doug) and Edward Ortega (Liz); and his wife Eusevia Carrasco "Cheva". He is also survived by his ten grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
