He is survived by: his daughters, Evelyn Ruiz Fores-Montero (Edwin) of Franklin, TN and Jolyam Ruiz Brinkman (John) of Kearneysville, WV.; his grandchildren, Ellie, Katharine, Josephine and Liam of Kearneysville, WV.; his siblings, Patricia Schlegel, Mary Ramirez and Timothy Scanlon; and his sister-in-law Carol Scanlon.
