Joan Marie Bates Obituary

We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2024, at the age of 83, Joan Marie Bates (Aurora, Colorado) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Joan Marie is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Bates. She is survived by: her sons, George Bates (Michelle) of Denver, CO and Keith Bates (Lauren) of Seattle, WA.; her grandchildren, Keith, Georgia Bates of Bainbridge Island, WA, Greyson and Elliot Bates of Seattle, WA.; and her siblings, Elizabeth Koerber of Leland and Robert Carmichael (Janet) of Scottsdale, AZ.. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
