James Brown Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Brown of Aurora, Colorado, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Brown to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Carl and Iola M Brown; and his brother Robert Howard Brown. He is survived by: his wife Nelda Johnson; his children, Donna, Robert (Christina), Melanie (Steve) and James; his grandchildren, Hanna Brown, Charlotte, Samantha, Amanda Bordwell (Ben), Ashley Burris (Jared), Erin Eplee (Darrell) and Justin West (Melissa); and also Nedra. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer Funeral Home (190 Potomac St, Aurora, CO 80011). A memorial service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to C-Care Lynch Syndrome in honor of James M. Brown.
