We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2024, at the age of 76, David Metzler (Aurora, Colorado) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the echoes of fond remembrance, may a sense of peace be found, knowing that the memories held dear will continue to shape and inspire his loved ones, keeping David's spirit alive in the hearts and actions of family and friends alike. While his presence may be gone, his impact lives on in the kindness shown to others and the joy found in the ordinary moments of life.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Ronald Stevens (Karol), Rhonda Stevens, Roger Stevens and Richard Stevens (Christa); his grandson Dillon Stevens (Bailey); his siblings, Kathleen Voorhis, Loretta Metzler, Marilyn Verreyen (Jerry) and Steven Metzler (Yolanda); his wife Rene Metzler; his parents, Wilbur Metzler and Kathleen Metzler; and his brother Thomas Metzler. He was also cherished by many Nieces and Nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the HeartLight Center (11150 E Dartmouth Ave, Aurora, CO 80014).
