He was predeceased by: his parents, George Maurice and Florence Bouse (Reed); and his sister Sandra Bouse Asher. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his daughters, Sindi Hammer and Stacie Luersen; his grandchildren, John, Garrett, Kalen, Brenli Hammer, Jacoby Bouse-Luersen and Taylor Luersen; his stepson Ed Farrington (Jeannie); his stepgrandchildren, Courtney and Emiley; his stepson Kelly Farrington (Rosemary); and his stepgrandchildren, Anthony and Nalena.

The family asks to omit flowers.
