She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Bauer and Nora "Sis" Bauer (Miller); her husband Alberto Lara; her uncle Danny; and her sister Betsy (Alberto).
She is survived by: her former husband Edward Downing; her stepchild Dannielle; her daughters, Danielle and Nora Dawn; her stepdaughter Tricia Nanez (Junior); her grandchildren, Eve, Aaliyah and Jeremiah; her siblings-in-law, Hortensia Lara, Francisca Yanes (Jessie), Maria Garza (Eddie), Antonia Hinojosa (Sam), Elsa Warren (Darren), Arleen Lara and Mario Lara (Caroline Forsgren); her pet Mamas; and her friends, Carla and Kathy.
