He was predeceased by: his parents, Florencio Lara and Antonia Lara (Barrientos); his brothers, Florencio and Roy Lara; and his brother-in-law Sam Hinojosa.
He is survived by: his wife Nora Lara (Bauer); his pet Mamas; his daughter Tricia Nanez (Junior); his grandchildren, Eve, Aaliyah and Jeremiah; and his siblings, Hortensia Lara, Francisca Yanes (Jessie), Maria Garza (Eddie), Antonia Hinojosa (Sam), Juan Lara (Arleen), Mario Lara (Caroline Forsgren) and Elsa Warren (Darren). He is also survived by his daughter, son-in-law, his beautiful grandkids.
