She was predeceased by: her husband John Marshall "Jack" Laferty Jr.; her brother Thomas "Tommy" Thorpe; her siblings-in-law, Eileen Laferty Knouse, George Knouse and Rev. Charles Patrick Laferty; her niece Laura Knouse Bohrer; and her parents, Gaynelle Bunch Thorpe and Edward Oscar Thorpe.
She is survived by: her children, Ann Shea Greiner (Jeff Drennan), John Marshall Laferty III (Tracy Laferty), Eileen Ellen "Ella" Cochran, Virginia Mary Powell (Marty Beaudoin), Patrick Thomas Laferty (Lucila Solis) and Kathleen Marie Sviatko (Joseph Sviatko); her grandchildren, Seth, Lawrence, Samuel, Cheyenne, Ella, Maria, Nicholas, Joseph, Clarise and Grace; her great grandchildren, Anna Marie, Tiffani, Tim, Charles, Ilona, Fiona and Sophia; and her nephews, Thomas Thorpe (Onora) and Adam Pope (Corrine).
A rosary was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (12801 W 44th Ave, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
